The Greek Play

An Annual tradition

The Greek Play has been an integral part of classic's at King's since the 1950s. Overseen by a professional theatre-maker and performed in the professionally-equipped 450-seat Greenwood Theatre every February, the play is directed, designed, choreographed, produced, and performed by current King's students. It is a great opportunity to engage with the language, style, and subject matter of Greek drama in a unique, immersive way. Students who take part in the play often go on to leadership positions in the Classics Society and beyond, while a number of the play’s alumni have pursued professional theatre careers.
